Jody Lyons has been a leader in the real estate market since launching his real estate career. He has participated in the listing and selling of commercial, investment and residential properties. Much of his time and energy has been spent in commercial development, mixed use projects and patio home development that combine the “live, work, play, shop, relax” model. He strives to give his best to every client, in every transaction. His genuine
interest in each client is apparent from the start; his passion is to first understand what their dream is, and then do all he can to help move them from where it’s “just a dream,” to the place where it’s a reality.

Jody and his wife Polly, who is also managing broker of Lyons Team Realtors, have an understanding in their family business: like two turtles on a fencepost, they know they didn’t get where they are on their own. They credit great mentors, training, and God’s hand in enabling them to make an impact both in life in general, and in their client’s lives. When they are not helping clients find the perfect home, you can find Jody waterskiing the waters of Smith Mountain Lake, playing bass guitar or planning the next treasure hunt for their grandchildren.
